Dr. Christopher Bozarth, Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Bozarth earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma in 1994 and started a residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. During medical school and residency, Dr. Bozarth served with the 45th Infantry Division of the Oklahoma Army National Guard. After the completion of residency training, Dr. Bozarth was promoted to Major and transferred to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio where he served as the Assistant Chief of Radiation Oncology at the one of the Military’s newest and busiest medical hospitals. Additionally, Dr. Bozarth was an assistant professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center. At the completion of Military service, he earned the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and returned to Oklahoma to establish his private Radiation Oncology practice.

For the last 15 years, Dr. Bozarth has provided Oklahoman’s the best available oncology care, treating all types of cancer with a special expertise on prostate cancer using Calypso localization. Dr. Bozarth works closely with patients affected by cancer. Engaged, focused and honest, he is dedicated to the science of cancer therapy while remaining compassionate to the hopes and values of his patients. Dr. Bozarth is committed to ongoing education and remains up to date on all forms of cancer therapy.

Dr. Teresa Craig, Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Craig earned her Medical Degree from the University of Oklahoma. She started her training in Internal Medicine. After 2 years, she changed to Radiation Oncology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Craig is board certified in Radiation Oncology. She is the former Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at Integris Baptist hospital in Oklahoma City. Dr. Craig  joined Optim Oncology in 2007.  She has extensive training in: IGRT with Tomotherapy; IMRT with Siemens and Varian Systems and stereotactic radiation therapy using Tomotherapy.  She enjoys treating all adults cancers, but has a special interest in head and neck cancers, prostate cancers, breast cancers, and survivorship.

Dr. Craig has dedicated herself to medicine because of her desire to make a difference. She uses her training and skills to plan a life of better health for all her patients.

Dr. Stephen Hamilton, Medical Oncologist

With 20 years of experience in private practice, Dr. Hamilton is a vital part of the Midwest City community serving patients from all of Oklahoma. His caring and straightforward approach ensures that he listens to your individual needs and addresses your concerns.

Dr. Hamilton graduated with a Medical Degree in 1991 from the University of Oklahoma. After completing his Internal Medicine residency program in 1994, he finished his residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Hamilton is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He served as the Chief of Staff at Midwest Regional Medical Center while practicing medicine at Cancer Treatment Center of Oklahoma and Cancer Care Partners until 2002. Dr. Hamilton is one of the founders of Optim Oncology.

Dr. Troy Richards, Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Richards attended medical school at the Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana where he graduated in 1996. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the Univserity of Texas as the Chief Resident. Dr. Richards has been serving Oklahoma residents since 2004. He is proud to serve the Moore and Ponca City communities locally.

Dr. Richards is compassionate and focused. He is determined to give the best care possible to each of his patients. Dr. Richards has extensive experience practicing with IMRT/3D Conformal Radiation, LDR and HDR Brachytherapy, Cyberknife and Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and Tomotherapy.

Dr. Bilal Ahmad, Medical Oncologist

Dr. Ahmad completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Medical Center with Mount Sinai University followed by Geriatrics fellowship at the New York University Medical Center in New York. He completed his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma. He served as Chief Fellow during his fellowship. He can be considered one of the nation’s few Oncologists who have formal Geriatrics training.Dr. Ahmad has presented his research in different Cancers at national meetings of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of Hematology (ASH) and National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN).

Dr. Ahmad has a long history of dedication and compassionate care. He has volunteered his services for different occasions of need. For example, Dr. Ahmad volunteered his medical services after a catastrophic earthquake in October 2005 in South Asia. Today, Dr. Ahmad’s desire is to serve Oklahoma with utmost love and care in field of cancers and blood diseases. Dr. Ahmad is proud to be in the Midwest City and Moore communities.
